In Oaxaca, Mérida, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Vallarta you can stay with a Mexican host family in a single room that includes breakfast and dinner. In Guanajuato, you can choose to stay in shared student apartment or to stay with a Mexican host family that includes breakfast and dinner.
The home stay is 10-25 minutes away from the school and tends to be a house or an apartment. However, the word “family” should not be taken too literally, since your family could be a single parent, a marriage, or an elderly individual. The home does not have more than 3 rooms available for rent, and generally they may have pets or outdoor spaces such as a garden, a balcony, front yard or backyard.
Single rooms are booked up with a shared bathroom. These houses are conditioned to receive guests and provide services such as linens and towels once a week.
Moreover, the host family makes an effort to try and make you feel like a member of the family. This accommodation will offer you the opportunity to experience the common life of a Mexican family.
In Guanajuato you have the option of staying in a student apartment with four or five other students. We always do our best to accommodate you in a student apartment with different nationalities.
The student apartments are not very luxurious but they have all the basic amenities (a bed, table, chair and a wardrobe). Each student apartment has a living room with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine and iron.
In student apartments there are no telephones available. You can make your phone calls from one of the many phone booths. You share the kitchen and the bathroom while keeping those areas clean. The common areas are cleaned once a week.

Upon request airport-pickup is available for the cities of Playa del Carmen and Guanajuato. If opting to go to Playa del Carmen or Mérida, you will need to fly to Cancún, whereas, for Guanajuato you must fly to Mexico City.
